7th Anniversary layout

7th years ago, on 15th October, we got married.

As both of us are Catholic so we had our beautiful wedding mass at noon on the day, followed by a great wedding banquet in the evening. At the wedding mass, we expressed our consent to each other in front of our Lord ~

I, [Groom’s name (Bride’s Name)], take you, [Bride’s Name  (Groom’s name) ], as my lawful wife (husband) to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer,  for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death do us part.

In the past 7 years I have come across many things that many people might come across along their whole life. I lost my parents in 2009 and 2010 consecutively while I gave birth to my two lovely angels in 2008 and 2011 respectively.

I have to express my thank and give a big hug to my husband who follow his consent, loves and takes care of me, our girls and my family wholeheartedly.

As I've recently fallen in love with scrapbooking, I've made a special layout to celebrate.

I picked 4 beautiful pictures from my album, fortunately I'm still looking almost the same as 7 years ago, Ha!

I picked a very nice pattern paper, which is from Magnolia, it contains a few pretty roses throughout the page. Since I got 4 pictures and this paper is already very detailed I did not add many adhesives, just keep it neat and simple. The theme is simply "7 years"!

I got some Valentines theme paper and chipboard left and I think they are perfect for this layout, so I picked the "Love Birds" banner from one of those; and I stamps and painted 2 birds from a stamp set. Surprising they are matching well with each other. I also add a little wooden bird cage behind which I bought from Sham Shui Po, a local city in Hong Kong where lots of crafting materials can be found.

Here are 2 punched butterflies represent two of us!

It's great to date this with my masking tape printer ~ great memory!

I love this layout overall, though I made this until 3:45am : P

Handmade album for Wong's Family, from Wong's Family

Back to 10 years ago, I joined the Choir of the Catholic Cathedral in Hong Kong, I met the Wong's family, their members include Catherine, Jimmy, and their two daughters.

The Wong's family is definitely a great model, the parents are gently, loves and care their children; the children loves and care their parents and behave in a perfect manner.

Particularly, their little girl, Adaline, who is a very confident and independent girl, even when she was just 3 years old when I met her. I love her so much since then and have invited her to be my flower girl on our big day. Few years ago, I was delighted to be invited to be her godmother.

My elder daughter Anson was born in 2008 and I let her baptised when she was 5 months old, on Christmas day.

Without any serious thought I invited Catherine to be Anson's godmother, as I am sure that she is the ideal person to give spiritual and religious supports to my kids, not only we live very close to each other. She has also become Hannah's godmother since she was baptised 3 months ago.

Wong's family has been given us lots of supports and helps throughout the years, I just got no idea how to give my thanks in a proper way.

Until recently I have addicted to Scrapbooking and I've decided to make an album, adding many pictures of us, send that as a gift to our dearest godmother, Catherine, and her lovely family.

All made with love, I hope they love it too. May God bless this lovely family forever and ever!

Home Craft - Ocean animal hand-painted magnets

I bought this Ocean Animal DIY magnet set from Eslite Flagship Store in Taipei about 3 weeks ago, which is designed for children. I saw this in Hong Kong before but the price in Taipei was cheaper plus it was on sales on the day we were there.

I thought this is a perfect activity for my 4-year-old daughter, Anson, to do during her Summer holiday!

There are 2 packs of powders (like that for making a plaster cast) already included in the box, you'd only need to add about 50ml of water, mix that well and you can pour into their molds which were also provided.

6 pcs of magnets are also included so simply stick them on the back of the molds and leave them dry for about 20-30 min.

The theme of this pack is Ocean Animals therefore you'll see these lovely sea animals such as fish, sea horse, Starfish, Turtle etc.

Included in the box, you can also see a set of 5 acrylic colour, as well as a painting pen

As there were only 5 color, if you wish to have a greee one, simply mix Yellow to Blue and its there!
This is a great way to let Anson learning about mixing colours

Look! She was really working hard.

On the day I let Anson paint all base colour and I just helped to touch up and decorate with multi-colour on the surface. Around 15 min; 6 ocean animals magnets were done!

Are they looking cool when I put them on the fridge door?

I highly recommend this for kids and if you are interested please let me know as I have asked for buying this at a discount.

Enjoy!
